Qmanja Signage vs NoviSign

Both run digital signage on hardware you already own. They differ most on price, on the free tier, and on how many player platforms are shipping today. Everything below is a checkable fact taken from each vendor's own pages — no ratings, no scores, no claims we cannot source.

Being straight about it

Where NoviSign is the stronger choice

A comparison page that only flatters its author is not much use. On these points NoviSign is ahead of us today.

A longer player list

NoviSign ships player apps for BrightSign, Linux, Chrome OS, the Amazon Signage Stick and the Novastar Taurus controller. We do not. Their Samsung Tizen and LG webOS apps are live, while ours are still in development. If your hardware is already bought and it is on that list, that settles it.

A bigger template library

NoviSign's pricing page advertises 50+ widgets and apps and 500+ customisable templates on every plan. If you want to start from a finished design rather than build a layout, that is a real head start.

Enterprise integrations and SSO

Their higher tiers list Zapier, Power BI and Toast POS integrations, user management, single sign-on and API access. If SSO or a POS feed is a procurement requirement, check those tiers before you look at price.

Set-up help on every plan

NoviSign lists free set-up assistance and training across all of its plans. Our free tier is self-serve, with priority email support starting on Pro.

An established reseller channel

NoviSign publishes a dedicated Partners tier for resellers, quoted on application with a 20-screen minimum. If you are buying through an integrator who already resells NoviSign, that existing relationship may matter more than any feature row above.

Check it yourself

Do not take our word for any of this. Every claim above and in the table links to the NoviSign page it came from, listed further down. If a page has changed since 28 July 2026, believe the page and not us.

The other side

Where Qmanja Signage fits better

Lower cost per screen

$4.99 per screen per month billed yearly, or $6.99 monthly. Across a twenty-screen estate that is a materially different annual bill from NoviSign's published $18 per screen per month, so it is worth pricing both against your actual screen count.

A free tier that does not expire

One screen with 200 MB of storage, free forever, no credit card. You can put a real screen into a real venue and leave it there while you decide, rather than working against a 30-day clock.

One paid tier, not three

Split-screen layouts, synced video walls, scheduling, proof-of-play and offline caching are all in Pro. There is no feature ladder to climb and nothing priced as an add-on on top of the plan.

Live streams beyond YouTube

YouTube, Twitch and raw HLS sources all play as scheduled content, which matters for sports venues and anywhere pushing an in-house stream to the wall.

Nothing to install to try it

The browser player means any laptop or spare PC becomes a test screen in a couple of minutes, before you commit to buying an Android TV box or a Fire TV Stick.

Reseller console included

If you manage screens for other people, the multi-tenant partner console gives each client its own tenant and per-outlet logins. See the reseller programme.

Comparison FAQ

Qmanja Signage vs NoviSign, answered

Is NoviSign or Qmanja Signage cheaper?

On published list prices, Qmanja Signage is cheaper at the entry tier: $4.99 per screen per month billed yearly, or $6.99 billed monthly, against NoviSign's Business plan at $18 per screen per month billed annually. Qmanja Signage also has a free plan for one screen, while NoviSign lists a 30-day free trial rather than a permanent free tier. Both quote separately for larger estates. NoviSign's figures were read from its pricing page on 28 July 2026 and can change.

Does NoviSign support more devices than Qmanja Signage?

Today, yes. NoviSign's player app list covers Android, Windows, Chrome OS, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Linux, BrightSign, the Amazon Signage Stick, an HTML player and the Novastar Taurus controller. Qmanja Signage runs on any web browser, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Windows, with macOS, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS in development and iOS/iPadOS in review. If you have already bought BrightSign or Novastar hardware, NoviSign is the better fit right now.

Do both keep playing when the internet drops?

Yes. Both cache media on the player, so a screen keeps showing its last published schedule through an outage. NoviSign's documentation notes that cached playback excludes widgets needing a live connection, such as YouTube and web pages. The same limit applies to Qmanja Signage: cached images and video keep playing, while live streams and web sources need connectivity.

Can I run split-screen layouts and video walls on both?

Yes. NoviSign documents multi-zone layouts in its Studio and synchronising separate units to form a video wall. Qmanja Signage includes split-screen layouts and synced video walls on the Pro and Business plans, with no add-on fee on top of the plan price. Check NoviSign's plan pages for which of its tiers you would need.

How current are the NoviSign figures on this page?

Each one was read from NoviSign's own pricing page, help centre or feature list on 28 July 2026, and every row links to the page it came from. Vendors change prices and ship new players, so check the linked pages before you decide. Where NoviSign's own documentation did not state something clearly, this page says 'check with vendor' instead of guessing.
