This Privacy Policy explains what information Qmanja Signage collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are
Qmanja Signage ("Qmanja Signage", "we", "us") provides cloud-based digital-signage software that lets you design, schedule and broadcast content to screens. We are the controller of the personal information processed through your account. For any privacy question, contact us at admin@qmanja.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information you provide — your name, email address, company/organisation name and login credentials (authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication).
- Content you upload — images, video, audio, playlists, schedules, layouts and links you add to display on your screens.
- Device & screen data — pairing codes, device identifiers, platform, orientation, online/offline status and (optionally) screenshots you choose to capture for live preview.
- Usage & technical data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps, used to operate, secure and improve the service.
- Optional analytics — proof-of-play and uptime statistics, which are turned OFF by default and only recorded when you explicitly enable them.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the service and deliver content to your screens.
- Authenticate you, pair your devices and keep your account secure.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Monitor performance, prevent abuse and improve our features.
- Send service-related communications (for example, offline-screen alerts you have configured).
4. Cookies & similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host and power the platform — including Amazon Web Services (media storage and hosting) and Google Firebase (authentication and database). They process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal and safety recipients — where required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Qmanja Signage, our users or the public.
- Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data storage & security
Your media is stored in the cloud (AWS) and your account is protected with Firebase authentication and per-device tokens. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some operational data is retained only briefly — for example, activity audit logs are kept for around 30 days and proof-of-play statistics for the current and previous month — after which they are automatically deleted. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information unless we are required to retain it.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct or update the personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Turn proof-of-play recording on or off at any time — it is off by default.
9. Children's privacy
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
